We place cancellation and rescheduling fees to ensure consistency in our service. Moreover, these policies help provide and increase job security for our employed cleaners. Minimizing last minute cancellations means we are able to keep experienced professionals on our platform and continue providing excellent cleaning for you.

Sample time of booking
Monday, 5:00pm
For a full refund, a booking must be cancelled 2 full days prior to the scheduled appointment. For example, if cleaning is scheduled on Friday at 09:00, cancel by Wednesday before 09:00 to avoid fees. For rescheduling a booking without penalty, changes must be made 2 full days prior to the scheduled appointment.
2 days prior
Wednesday, 9:00am
If a booking is cancelled between 1 to 2 days prior to the scheduled time, 75% will be refunded. If a booking is rescheduled between 1 to 2 days prior to the scheduled time, 25% of the original booking price will be charged on top of the new booking.
1 day prior
Thursday, 9:00am
If a booking is cancelled less than 1 day prior to the scheduled time, 50% will be refunded. If a booking is rescheduled less than 1 day prior to the scheduled time, 35% of the original booking price will be charged on top of the new booking. It is not possible to reschedule the trial cleaning.
Cleaning Day
Friday, 9:00am
If the booking cannot take place for reasons under the customer's responsibility* or if it is cancelled at the time of cleaning, the customer will be charged the full amount for that appointment.

* These may include but is not limited to: when the place cannot be located because of an incorrect address; when the customer is not present or cannot be contacted at the time of the cleaning; the cleaner cannot access the place for any reason.

Bookings with minimum booking duration:

Cancellation or rescheduling of appointments
In case one or more appointments get cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the event, the minimum booking duration gets automatically extended by the number of cancelled events. The additional appointments have to take place within six months after the end of the minimum booking duration. In case not all appointments have taken place within this time, Helpling will charge a termination fee of CHF 100. In case one or more appointments get cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event, the described conditions apply.
Cancellation prior to the end of the minimum booking duration
In case a booking gets cancelled prior to the end of the minimum booking duration, Helpling will charge a termination fee of CHF 100.
Appointments after the end of the minimum booking duration
After the end of the minimum booking duration, appointments will continue to be planned and invoiced, according to the chosen booking details. A termination of the contract is possible anytime and free of charge.
